2024 has arrived, marking an exciting milestone as the first launch approaches on the horizon. The journey to this point has certainly had its fair share of setbacks, but finally, everything is starting to come together. Last year proved to be quite challenging for me, as I struggled to find the time to dedicate to my art. Working long hours and commuting between Sydney and the Central Coast every day for work left me feeling depleted, with little energy left for my creative pursuits. However, in June, I made the bold decision to move out and seek a change, and boy, did it make a difference!
I was fortunate enough to find a shared studio space, and let me tell you, being in such close quarters with other passionate artists was truly a breath of fresh air. It was precisely what I needed to reignite my motivation and dive headfirst into my art once again. The pace picked up rapidly, not only with my art but also with my content creation for my social media pages. I focused on refining my website and getting all my ducks in a row, but there was one crucial element missing: my prints.
Photographing my art for prints had always been a bit of a challenge in the past, with pesky glares ruining the final result. Throwing caution to the wind, I decided to explore the option of art reproduction companies. However, the quotes I received were far from small change. Determined not to be deterred by this setback, I dedicated myself to researching alternative ways I could bring my art to life through prints. And guess what? I found a solution!
After some extensive searching, I discovered a method that would allow me to create prints of my art myself. Armed with newfound knowledge and confidence, I recently placed an order for sample prints. I can't express how thrilled I am to see my creations come to life in this new format. With each passing day, I'm getting closer to the eagerly anticipated launch date.
It's been an incredible journey, full of twists and turns. Finding a supportive and collaborative environment, the surge in my creative output and content creation has been nothing short of exhilarating. And now, with the imminent arrival of my sample prints, I can't help but feel a sense of anticipation and excitement.
